New Tech Welcome

Welcome to the team of outside contractors for BitRobotic!

This document describes our expectations, serves as an introduction to the repairs, and describes the steps to complete repairs and wrap up the paperwork when the job is finished.

Acceptance of Work Order

Once you have accepted a work order, please make contact with the customer within a reasonable timeframe (24 to 48 hours). It is best to reach out to introduce yourself and provide your contact info right away. You can always schedule a specific day and time later.

Customer Communication

You must maintain communication with the customer until the work order is completed. This includes scheduling a reasonable time window with the customer and letting them know of any delays.

Appearance

You are encouraged to have a clean appearance and be dressed in work-appropriate attire. Jeans and a polo shirt is a great example.

Managing Expectations

Discuss the scope of the work that you have been authorized to perform with the customer before you begin. It is important that you do not make promises to perform repairs or alterations not outlined in the description from us or the manufacturer. If these must be made, we may have to seek approval from the manufacturer before continuing.

Completion of Work

Upon completion of work, you are expected to test the repair with the customer and receive approval. This is necessary to submit to the manufacturer. The best form of approval is a photo taken with your phone that includes the customer giving the thumbs-up next to the chair. This is shared with the chair’s manufacturer as proof of a completed job and this also protects you if the customer says later that they were not happy with the service. Massage Chair Repair is…

The repairs that you will be asked to perform are commonly part replacements. It is also fairly common for additional diagnoses to be made onsite before you leave. You must have a multimeter so that we will be able to isolate the cause of the problem. This allows you to save on unnecessary trips and increases your repair success rate. Additional training materials will be sent to you soon.

Your Role with BitRobotic

The role of a contractor with BitRobotic is just that. You are a contractor and your own boss. You will schedule a timeframe for the repair that works for you and the customer. Tools will be supplied by you. You will need to keep track of your mileage or fuel expenses to offset any taxes that you owe. Downloading a mileage app will be useful so that you are not taxed on all of your payments as profit by the IRS. BitRobotic is a Schedule S Corporation and all contractor payments are reported at the end of the year.
